First Day (Chianti tour)

Departure from your hotel at 9.30 a.m. to the Medieval village of Monteriggioni.
After the tour of the city, we will take the scenic roads of the Chianti area to arrive at the
Castello of Fonterutoli. Here we visit the suburb and we taste the wines produced on the farm.
For the lunch we continue to Radda in Chianti, to Castello d’Albola where we can taste typical
Tuscan products and selected wines recommended by an expert sommelier. In the afternoon we go to
the area of Gaiole in Chianti, for a visit of the village. The last stop is the Castello di Brolio,
where, after the visit of winery, we taste the wines of Barone Ricasoli.
We return to the hotel in Siena around 7 p.m.
Second Day (Montepulciano tour)
09.30: Pick-up at your hotel in Siena
10.15: Stop at a sightseeing point in the Crete Senesi area
11.00: Visit and wine tasting at the winery “Bindella”
13.00: Lunch at Godimento Divino restaurant
15.00: Visit of Montepulciano
16.00: Visit and wine tasting at the winery “Poliziano”
19.00: Return to your hotel
Departure from your hotel at 9.30 a.m. to the Crete Senesi area, and stop
at a sightseeing point. Taking the scenic roads, we will arrive at the winery Avignonesi,
where we can taste wines produced in the vineyard. For lunch it’s possible to taste some
traditional Tuscan dishes in the restaurant Godimento Divino In the afternoon, our tour
continues with the visit of Montepulciano and wine tasting at the winery Poliziano
We return to the hotel in Siena around 7 p.m.
Third Day (Brunello Tour)
09.30: Pick-up at your hotel in Siena
10.15: Visit of Abbazia di Sant’Antimo
11.00: Visit and wine tasting at the winery “Poggio Antico”
13.00: Lunch at Porta al Cassero
15.00: Visit of Montalcino
16.00: Visit and wine tasting at the winery “Altesino”
19.00: Return to your hotel
Departure from your hotel at 9.30 a.m. to Abbazia di Sant’Antimo, a monastic
complex near Montalcino. After the visit of the Abbey we reach the Tenuta Poggio Antico,
where we will visit the wine cellar and we will taste the wines of the farm. For lunch we can
taste traditional Tuscan dishes at the Porta al Cassero restaurant. In the afternoon we reach
Montalcino for a guided tour of the most important monuments. The last stop of the our tour is
in the north-east of Montalcino, at the winery of Altesino, built in the fifteenth-century in
the building Altesi. Here we will visit some vineyards and the wine cellar, where we can taste
the wines produced by the farm.
We return to the hotel in Siena around 7 p.m.
Fourth day (Florence)

Departure from your hotel at 9.30 a.m. to the city of Florence, known in all the
world for its art and architecture. Between the innumerable attractive sights, is the central
Piazza della Signoria. It is in the heart of the city. It is here you will find the Palazzo Vecchio,
today the center of offices for the Town Hall, in earlier times the residence of the Medici Family.
Near there is the Uffizi gallery, one of the world’s most celebrated museums known for it’s importance
and renown collections (Michelangelo, Botticelli, Leonardo, Raffaello, Caravaggio). Also very interesting
is the Corridoio Vasariano, an inclosed pass-over that connects the Palazzo Vecchio with Palazzo Pitti
passing the Gallery of the Uffizi and over the Ponte Vecchio. Inside there is an immense collection of
portraits from the sixteen and seventeen hundreds. Of the churches in Florence the more important are:
the Duomo di Santa Maria del Fiore, whose dome was created by Brunelleschi, the church of Santa Maria
Novella that conserves numerous art works, the church of Santa Croce which contains many monumental tombs-
Galileo and Michelangelo, to name a couple. For lunch it’s possible to taste some traditional Tuscan dishes
in a restaurant in the historical center.
We return to the hotel in Siena around 17.30 p.m.
Fifth Day (Massa Marittima)
09.30: Pick-up at your hotel in Siena
10.15: Visit of Mine Museum in Massa Marittima
11.00: Visit and wine tasting at the winery “Morisfarm”
13.00: Lunch
15.00: Visit of Massa Marittima
16.00: Visit and wine tasting at the Tenuta Rocca di Montemassi
19.00: Return to your hotel
Departure from your hotel at 9.30 a.m. to Massa Marittima, where we will visit the
Mine Museum which is a faithful reconstruction of a mine used in it’s time to employ many people.
The museum was opened in 1980 in an abandoned mine used as a bomb shelter during WWII. After the
visit of the museum, we will go to the wine cellar of Morisfarm, where we will visit the winery and
taste the wines. For lunch it will be possible to taste traditional Tuscan dishes in a restaurant in
the centre of Massa Marittima. In the afternoon, we will visit the city and the Duomo of Massa Marittima.
The last stop of our tour is at the Tenuta di Montemassi of the Zonin family, where we can taste the wines
produced by the farm.
We return to the hotel in Siena around 7 p.m.
Sixth day (Scansano)
09.30: Pick up at your hotel in Siena
10.15: Visit of archaeological park of Roselle
11.00: Visit and wine tasting at the wine cellar “Le Pupille”
13.00: Lunch
15.00: Visit of the vine Museum and the wine in Scansano
16.00: Visit and wine tasting at the wine cellar “Castello di Montepò”
19.00: Return to your hotel
Departure from your hotel at 9.30 a.m. to the territory of Bagno Roselle to visit the
archaeological park. It is one of the greatest visible archaeological areas in Tuscany. The more
interesting aspects of it are the Amphitheatre, Forum, Basilica, and Thermal Baths. Then we continue
to visit the wine cellar “ Le Pupille” where we can taste and buy some wines. For lunch in a characteristic
restaurant , we go to Scansano, a village situated on hills in the province of Grosseto. In the afternoon,
we can visit the Museum of the vine and the wine inside the Palazzo Pretorio where we find information on
wines produced in the territory and on the culture and the traditions. The last stop of our visit is a wine
tasting in the wine cellar in the Castle of Montepò.
We return in hotel around 19.00 p.m.
