Minimum participants: 2 people 09.00: Pick up at your hotel in Siena 11.00: Arrive in Pisa and guided tour of the city (Torre Pendente and Cattedrale dell’Assunta, they are facoltatives) 12.00: Departure to Lucca 12.30: Lunch in the restaurant “La Locanda da Bacco” in Lucca 14.00: Tour of the city 16.00: Back to Siena 17.30: Arrive in your Hotel Departure from your Hotel at 9.00 a.m. to the city of Pisa, one of the most important cities that has dominated the Western Mediterranean. We visit Piazza dei Miracoli or Piazza del Duomo, where it is possible to visit the Cathedral and the Torre Pendente (the Leaning Tower). Our visit continues toward Lucca, one of the main cities of Italian art, celebrated also for its intact town and walls built in the XV-XVII century. Before the visit of the principal monuments, we will stop in a homestyle restaurant (la Locanda da Bacco), where we can appreciate traditional dishes. After lunch our visit continues in the historical center of the city to admire medieval churches, towers, bell towers, and renaissance palaces. The city boasts spaces reminiscent of times before: the most celebrated is the Piazza dell’Anfiteatro (built on the ruins of the ancient roman amphitheater). Other reminiscent public squares are Piazza San Michele, historical forum of the city, and Piazza San Martino, where we find the famous Duomo of San Martino.
