Our visit begins at the “Cristalleria Vilca”, started in 1958. Vilca has always produced unique and original objects characterised by a strong individuality. We will be able to see how the artisan works and create these pieces of art with their own hands. We continue the visit in the high part of the city where we find the Piazza Duomo with three important buildings: the Cathedral, the City Hall (Palazzo Comunale), and the Palazzo del Podestà, center of the archaeological museum. For lunch we will go to a restaurant near San Gimignano (I Tre Archi), where we can taste some typical dishes of Tuscany. In the afternoon, we will reach Volterra, a city that conserves a remarkable historical Etruscan center. The visit starts from Piazza dei Priori, where we find the Palazzo dei Priori, the most ancient Italian public palace. We continue to Piazza San Giovanni, the center of religious life: here there is the Duomo and the Museo Diocesano. We will then go to the archaeological museum Guarnacci. It contains the most exhaustive collection of Etruscan finds.
