TOUR CHIANTI

Length of the trip: 8 hours. Minimum participants: 2 people 09.30: Pick-up at your hotel 10.15: Visit and tasting Felsina wines 11.45 Arrive in Radda in Chianti for a short visit 12.15: Arrive in Volpaia for lunch 14.00: Visit and wine tasting in the Castello d’Albola 15.15: stop in Radda in Chianti or Castellina in Chianti for a brief visit 16.30: Wine tasting in the wine shop of Fonterutoli 17.30: Return in the hotel The tour starts from your hotel in Siena at half past nine. Then we continue toward the zone southeast of the classic Chianti area to reach the Felsina’s wine cellar. Then we continue to the territory of Gaiole in Chianti to reach Radda, a nice village with a wonderful view. We continue the tour, crossing a panoramic line, to reach the restaurant “la Bottega di Volpaia”. Here in this wonderful medieval village, with a magnificent view, we can taste some traditional Tuscan dishes. In the afternoon we reach the castle of Albola where we can visit the wine cellar and taste some wines. 5 km from Castellina in Chianti we reach the Castello di Fonterutoli where we can visit the suburb and taste some wines. We will return in the hotel around 17.30 p.m. Rates per person 1-2 people: € 175,00 3-4 people: € 140,00 5-6 people: € 110,00 7-8 people: € 98,00 This includes 8 seats in a comfortable minivan (air conditioning, microphone), driver/guide- me (I have a vast knowledge about Tuscan wines), lunch, wine visits and tasting, tax, road tax, gas, and lunch for the driver.
