CHIANTI TOUR

Our 5 hours guided bus tour is the most comfortable way to get a glimpse of Tuscan countryside with its vineyards, olive trees, castles and little Medieval towns.
With one afternoon you can see the highlights of this region, taste Its wines that have made it world-famous.

What will you see?

* the heart of the Chianti Classico area and the picturesque views of the rolling landscape of Tuscany
* the historical Radda in Chianti a Medieval town located on the hill that separates Val di Pesa from Val d’Arbia. In the 1400s Radda became a Florentine fortress, which made it the chief town of Chianti league. Still today the ancient wall surrounding the town as well as look-out towers remind these long passed days.
* the famous Winery of Castello d’Albola where the local guide will introduce you with the secrets of wine production and serve you locally produced wines: white Chardonnay and important reds Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, Vin Santo and the national spirit Grappa.. You will also taste the Extra Virgin olive oil.
* a medieval village of Vertine The medieval castle of Vertine is a well-preserved castle surrounded by nearly intact walls. The narrow streets within the walls lead the way to small squares scattered here and there. Largely out of the way for most of the tourists, this village provides a unique opportunity to discover the true medieval spirit of Tuscany.

Pienza, a small town near Siena, is a rare example of Renaissance architecture. Defined the "ideal city", the "utopian city", it represents one of the best-planned Renaissance towns. Its location in the middle of Val d'Orcia and its views from the walls are breathtaking. The center of Pienza was completely redesigned by Pope Pius II in Renaissance times. The architect Bernardo Rossellino was commissioned to build a Duomo, papal palace and town hall. The construction was completed in four years. The town is also famous for the production of various kinds of special Pecorino Cheese.

Montepulciano is encircled by walls and fortifications designed by Antonio da Sangallo. Inside the walls, the streets are crammed with Renaissance-style palaces and churches, but the town is chiefly known for its wonderful local Vino Nobile wines. A long, winding street called the Corso climbs up into the main square, which crowns on the summit of the hill in Piazza Grande. The city is also characterized by the presence of various medieval cellars built under the noble palaces of the historical center.
